[English] Armwrestling Table (model no. ATR-1) designed and made by World of Grip.com. This table has been used for MLA Asia/Korea Armwrestling Competitions on Aug.13th.2011, considered by many as the most memorable armwrestling event in the history of professional armwrestling in Korea.
John Cole: “It was nice to see someone else put rollers on there table. I did have my table with the rollers on it at the Worlds 2010 Nevada everyone really did like it. One of the reasons I came up with the rollers is because I have had many pullers come up to me and ask if I could invented something that would be more cushy on the edge of the table then they would lift up there shirt and show me the bruises on there stomach from arm wrestling, I have a reputation among pullers as being an inventor. I am trying to bring arm wrestling tables out of the stone age and into the 21st century. They also really liked the auto-switch pads from left to right. Some even liked the hand grips that spun in place. I believe if we make the table more user friendly that this could increase participation in our sport. I already have some new ideas for a table and machine and sometime after the first of the year I should have them ready to show all.

[Korean] 그립보드에서 오랜 시간 투자를 해서 완성한 팔씨름 테이블 (모델명: ATR-1) 입니다. 이 테이블은 8월 13일날 성황리에 치러진 MLA Asia/Korea 팔씨름 대회 (주최:그립보드) 에서 사용되었는데, 팔씨름 테이블 덕분인지 많은 분들로부터 한국 프로 팔씨름계에 한 획을 그었다는 평가를 받고 있습니다.
존 콜: “누군가가 팔씨름 테이블에 롤러를 장착한걸 보니 기쁩니다. 나 역시 2010년 미국 네바다주에서 열린 세계팔씨름대회에서 롤러를 설치한 테이블을 진열했었는데 모두가 좋아했습니다. 제가 맨처음 팔씨름 테이블에 롤러를 설치한 이유는 수많은 팔씨름 선수들이 제게 와서 자신의 멍든 배를 보여주며 이에 대한 해결책을 제시해주길 바랬기 때문인데, 이러한 이유로 저는 롤러 팔씨름 테이블의 창시자라는 얘기를 듣죠. 전 팔씨름 테이블을 석기시대가 아닌 21세기에 걸맞게 변화시키려 노력하고 있습니다. 선수들은 왼팔과 오른팔용 경기대로 손쉽게 변형되는 반자동 팔씨름 테이블도 매우 좋아하고, 몇몇은 손잡이가 회전하는 기능을 좋아하기도 했습니다. 우리가 지금처럼 사용자를 배려한 팔씨름 테이블을 만들어나가면 좀 더 많은 사람들이 팔씨름에 참여하리라 믿습니다. 전 현재 팔씨름 테이블과 머신을 위한 새로운 아이디어를 가지고 있으며 내년 초에는 그 결과물을 보여줄 수 있으리라 생각합니다.
